After testing, allocating 8gb of RAM (8192mb) or less is recommended so that the garbage collector does not take too much time. Allocating too much ram causes spikes in frame time (hitches) which are quite unpleasant. The less RAM is allocated the better, therefore the amount should be configured according to your needs.
