TIERS:
- For a more RPG approach, now items and armours have tiers, such as rare or legendary, these can be reforged to change stats or rarities.
- Now as you progress, you can unlock skills on a skill tree! (Highly configurable)
IMPROVED DETAILS:
- Now roads lead to villages.
- Villages have been improved.
- Now you may find taverns, towers or small towns.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS:
- Some mods that didn't seem very necessary have been removed to decrease RAM and CPU usage!
MORE ORIGINS:
- Now you can be a goblin, elf or siren, there's plenty more to choose.
IMPROVED GAMEPLAY:
- Now with a per-to-per free server hosting, making you able to host a world directly powered by Essential mod.
- Now you can have cosmetics.
- Friends list and socials added in-game, you can now send messages, join your friends in worlds, or share screenshots, all in-game, powered by Essential Mod.
IMPROVED WORLD DYNAMICS:
- Mountains are now higher, and the oceans can get way deeper, have fun exploring your new world.
COFFINS:
- You don't have to be scared of losing your items anymore, now, when you die, your items will be stored on a convenient block for you to collect when you are able to.
CRASH FIX:
- A problem caused by a missing mod crashing the game was fixed.
IMPROVED CHALLENGES:
- Now, as you get farther away from the spawn, you will face biomes with increased levels, which will affect the monsters you will face.
- The more you play, the stronger the monsters get.
- When you throw diamonds at the barrier, the barrier expands, forcing you to mine and grind your way up to explore. (The recommended config is 1 diamond per 50 block radius, you may change this in the "Diamond World Border" mod's settings)
STRUCTURE FIX:
- Now, the structures will slightly spawn further away from each other, stopping the structures from overlapping.
MOD INTERACTION:
- Now, some mods add integrations to work seamlessly with other mods, such as between Create and Origins, adding more compatibility during the gameplay for some specific Races.
OPTIMIZATION:
- After some tests, and checking the mods carefully, I decided to remove some mods that were or rather, useless for the modpack to work, or that didn't fit in the modpack's design and feel.
