About the pack
Finding Balance is a challenge pack focused on touching features that don't get much love post 1.14+ things like: boats, brewing, wandering traders- all have a use again. Torches and campfires now have a time limit, meaning nowhere is safe forever. Unique spider variants to keep you on your toes. Plenty of abandoned and lively structures underground to explore and loot, And with 16 unique ender eyes to collect. You must find a way to survive in a world where the sun hates you, and the darkness is breathing down your neck.
With 16 unique ender eyes tied to challenges/features like turtle scute farming, finding a trial chamber, or even just fishing. Will you be able to find the balance?
Why make a pack?
Minecraft is a wonderful game, but.... do you ever feel like you spend too little time reaching the supposed "end" of the game?
Honestly 90% of the features added post 1.14 can be ignored on your adventure to the ender dragons domain. Bees, Turtles, or Wandering traders: Barely getting any love. When was the last time you genuinely fished in game?
This fact paired with how fast creators blast through challenge modpacks- additionally with how fast I personally burn out on the concept of "Forever Worlds". I created Finding Balance as a way to encourage players to interact with features they otherwise would have no reason to use.
