Welcome, to the World (World)!
Have you, the Player, ever truly looked into what’s behind the veil? No? Well, never mind.
Gamma Files: The Lost Update offers a glimpse into a different state of Minecraft: something very close and familiar—yet, inviting—for resolving a mystery.
Unraveling right in front of your eyes, the story repeats itself again and again (from one seed, into another), offering you to do a simple set of things. You are free to: build, craft, collect new blocks; at times—enjoy a melody of a newfound music disc during the sunset; discover the secrets that lie on the other side of the portals; or even invite your friends to explore the (convoluted, branching and almost never-ending) caverns, or just—build a huge creeper statue! Anything, that you choose to do in this version of Minecraft—is… your decision.
This update has been recollected and reshaped over the course of a few years; a few mishaps, a few code chunks lost along the way: don’t expect it to be the same. I have tried my best to adapt the code to newest, compatible versions of the modern hardware—yet, some things are just… irretrievable.
