Light in the Sky

Light in the Sky (LitS for short) is a tiny modpack that delivers a technical skyblock experience but is playable on very low-spec devices. The mod list is intentionally limited to make LitS easily run using less than 2 GB of RAM.

But please don't think that this modpack is uninteresting to people with "better" machines. The constrained mod list can make for some unique gameplay decisions. Have you ever had to rely on Copper Pipes from Quark Oddities for early-game automation? Can you progress all the way up to the Draconic Reactor using just Thermal Expansion tech? Are you ready to build some slightly-non-trivial vanilla redstone contraptions?

(I am writing all of this as if it's a hardcore challenge but honestly the modpack is very chill. Recommended for people new to modded Minecraft)

The only major content mods included in LitS are:

• Ex Nihilo Sequentia
• Pollution of the Realms
• Quark (yes this is a major mod by this pack's standards)
• Thermal Expansion
• Refined Storage
• BetterEnd (with Enderman spawns disabled to reduce lag)
• Draconic Evolution

Not included but highly recommended to install:

• FTB Backups
• Datapack: End City for BetterEnd - Forge port

LitS also includes:

• 80+ custom advancements with rewards, not relying on Curseforge-exclusive FTB Quests
• 100+ custom recipes to smooth out just a few rough corners
  • Yes, I disabled Magmatic Dynamos
• Optional custom gamemode: start in the (Better)End and work towards escaping to the Overworld
  • Not tested much
  • To activate it, just choose any world type besides Skyblock
