Whats new in version 1.5.3:
Removed:
- Enchantery
Balance:
- golden weapon and armor durability has been greatly buffed
- leveling up armor and weapon damage now increases half as much as the last update along with some other tweaks
- you can now use books and merge items in the anvil once again
- crafting recipes for items in the Wraith Waystones mod have been made more difficult
Expected changes:
Very small touches to make keep gold viable and to limit the power of fast travel, Waystones should become a late to end game project. Being able to combine items should be able to keep certain items useful even if they are not totally desired.
Whats new in version 1.5.2:
Added:
- Anvil Repair
- KubeJs
- Just a Backpack
Balance:
- You can now repair anvils with one iron ingot (right click on the anvil)
- Leather armor is now as good as iron armor
- Ancient Crypt medium dungeons are now much rarer
- Villages are now a bit rarer
- Killing hostile mobs levels up weapons and armor twice as fast
- Armor now levels up twice as fast
- Armor level and damage now increases 10x more than previous upon level up
Expected changes:
Provide players with an option for armor in the early game that can be crafted and leveled, then substituted out for more enchanted armor. Leveling will now be much more common and useful in the early and mid games. Repairing armor is now a much less expensive with the ability to repair the anvil and should reduce grinding after the early game substantially. New backpacks will solve inventory issues forever with a tough but fair early game recipe.
Whats new in version 1.5.1:
Added:
- Repairsmith
- Skeleton Arrow Nerf
Removed:
- C2ME
Balance:
- Made difficulty increase 10x slower
- Made breaking anvils decrease their durability (you can still use carry on mod to carry them around if you like)
- Removed hay bales from villages
- remove most sources of food from chests
- Meat drops have become much rarer
- made loot much much rarer yet again
- weapons smelt down to full ingots again now that they are rarer
Expected changes:
making mobs less aggravating and keeping the early game tough yet smoooooth. emphasizing the need to save up and farm food throughout the game as apposed to finding it easily through exploration. explorations main rewards are gear and potions now without giving away repair resources and food cheaply. making loot rarer will hopefully reduce players becoming tired of overlooting and reduces the amount of clog in the inventory, finding gear in a ruin should become more of an event as apposed to a formality.
