Opsidian+ is a high-performance Minecraft optimization modpack for Minecraft 1.21.11 Fabric, combining the performance-focused foundation of Opsidian with a carefully selected collection of essential quality-of-life and utility features.

While the original Opsidian is designed around pure performance and maximizing frame rates, Opsidian+ is built for players who want an optimized Minecraft experience without having to install their favourite essential mods separately.

From improved rendering and reduced stuttering to minimaps, world maps, food information, and other everyday utilities, Opsidian+ gives you a more feature-rich Minecraft experience while keeping performance at its core.

Opsidian+ retains the visual compatibility of the original Opsidian, including Iris for shader support and Continuity for connected textures.

Opsidian+ follows three principles:

• Vanilla, But Better

Opsidian+ aims to enhance Minecraft rather than replace it. The goal is to provide the features players commonly want while keeping the familiar Minecraft experience intact.

Optional Performance Tip

Some optimization mods included in Opsidian+ can take advantage of Java's Vector API (SIMD) for additional performance.

If your launcher supports custom JVM arguments and you are using a compatible Java version, you can enable it by adding:

--add-modules=jdk.incubator.vector

If you do not add this argument, Opsidian+ will still work normally. This option simply enables additional CPU optimizations where supported.
