HOW TO INSTALL ?
1. Open the MultiMC launcher.
2. Download the modpack.
3. Drag the downloaded .mrpack file into the MultiMC launcher.
4. Make sure that Java 17 is selected for running the game.
5. Launch the game.
6. Done!
Second method:
1. Open the MultiMC launcher.
2. Create a modpack in the MultiMC launcher.
3. Click on the Modrinth tab.
4. Type "OptiSodium" in the search bar.
5. Select the desired version and click "OK."
6. Make sure that Java 17 is selected for running the game.
7. Launch the game.
8. Done!
How to install the modpack on a different launcher?
Let's say you're not using MultiMC or don't want to use it, but you still want to play with the modpack?
Here's what you need to do:
1. Follow one of the methods mentioned above until the "Java 17" step.
2. Open the Minecraft folder.
3. Copy all the contents ("config," "mods," "options.txt") and move/replace them in the ".minecraft" folder of your launcher.
4. Install the desired version of Quilt >>> https://quiltmc.org/en/install/client/
5. In the launcher, select the Quilt version you installed.
6. Launch the game.
7. Done!
OptiSodium optimizes game performance, ensuring smooth gameplay and improved stability. Now you can enjoy Minecraft without lag and decreased game performance.
The modpack has three versions: OptiSodium, OptiSodiumLite and OptiSodiumPlus
OptiSodium is a standard version of a modpack that includes the full functionality of OptiFine and provides good optimization.
OptiSodiumLite is a trimmed-down version of the modpack that offers extremely high performance. It includes only essential optimization features, without any additional extras. It is highly recommended for low-end or "potato" computers.
On the other hand, OptiSodiumPlus also includes the full functionality of OptiFine, but it additionally incorporates mods such as ambientsounds, replaymod, litematica, and more. This modpack is more suitable for users who prefer additional features and customization.
Please note that additional mods can potentially worsen performance.
