Outatime Gamers is a community created for Millennial, Xennial, and Gen X gamers (30+) that feel a bit out of place in younger gaming groups. We aim to create a casual and friendly space, bringing together like minded gamers that may not have the time to game 24/7 like they used to. Come and chill with us!
Vanilla+, what's that?
Vanilla+ is close to vanilla, but has performance optimizations, and quality of life mods added on. The QoL mods are the only ones that really change gameplay. Hereare the QoL mods in the pack:
Blocks/items:
- Animal Pens: We all hate lag, right? So instead of cramming a hundred cows into a fenced area, why not put them into a single block? Breed, kill, and get resources right from the pen.
- Comforts: Adds a sleeping bag (to sleep and not set your spawn) and a hammock (to change day to night).
- Gravestones: Another thing we all hate - your stuff despawning when you die! This mod stores your stuff in a gravestone until you go get it. But don't wait too long - these decay over time!
- Storage Drawers: Regular chests are a pain, right? Storage drawers give you a much better way to set up your storage.
Visual/Helpful:
- Appleskin: See your saturation on the hunger bar, as well as how much hunger and health you'll gain when you eat something.
- Better Clouds: I mean, look at them. They're better. While still looking vanilla-ish.
- BlueMap: A website where you can view live server maps, with player locations.
- Freecam: Have an out of body experience - fly around your local area as a spectator. Useful, but try to be honest enough not to do cheaty things with it.
- Jade: Tells you what block you're looking at, and what tool breaks it.
- Just Enough Items (JEI): Easy access to view every block, how to craft it, and what it can be used for.
- Simple Voice Chat: Voice chat with nearby players. NOT required if you prefer privacy and text-only.
- Also AudioPlayer is included, for custom music discs, goat horns, etc.
- Trade Cycling: Villagers suck, and cycling their trades by breaking the workstation sucks even more. This gives you a handy cycle trades button.
- Xaero's Minimap & World Map: A configurable minimap of what's around you, as well as a full screen map for everywhere you've been.
