The official modpack for the QuagCraft Minecraft Server!
The Quagsire Fanclub Discord community proudly presents the QuagCraft Modpack, a comprehensive, custom-built Cobblemon modpack which was made exclusively to work with the QuagCraft Minecraft Server. Head there for more general information about QuagCraft as a whole!
This is intended to be exclusively a client-side modpack. Mods which are only required on the server are not present in this modpack, which means that singleplayer worlds will play quite differently. Singleplayer is available, of course, but not supported at this time - maybe in the future.
All content provided within this modpack can be found here on Modrinth. A mod list will be made available here with the release of Version 0.3.0.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are almost none of the server-side mods in the pack?
Simply put: the modpack is large enough as-is, and because it isn't really meant to exist for any purposes outside of the server, the fact is that keeping the server-side mods out of it keeps the file size down and the load times just barely reasonable. Simple as that.
Why no shaders?
At first, I considered shaders to be added to the pack by default. However, I quickly realized that enforcing a specific shader really doesn't make any sense when, by nature, shaders are so heavily dependent on personal preference. In order to prevent any potential keybind conflicts, Iris is provided with the modpack; but ultimately, the best thing to do is to just let the end user install shaders for themselves if they so please. To my knowledge, QuagCraft is compatible with any shader you might want to use - but pleaselet me know if one isn't!
