THE MASSACRE

The original idea behind THE MASSACRE was to build a pack based on paranoia rather than just spamming cheap jumpscares. You aren't meant to feel like a hero; you're meant to feel like you're constantly being hunted.

What's in the pack:

• Paranoia & Sanity: The game actively tries to mess with your head. You'll hear your own footsteps echoing after you stop moving, see things in your peripheral vision, and experience severe visual distortions if your sanity drops too low.
• Smarter AI: The entities in this pack don't just run straight at you. They are designed to stalk you, wait for your light sources to burn out, and cut off your escape routes.
• Brutal Medical System: Forget vanilla regeneration. Injuries here actually stick around and severely impact your movement, making every mistake incredibly punishing.

A few survival tips:

If you actually plan on surviving, don't trust every light source you see—some entities use them as bait. Also, keep an eye on your stamina; running around recklessly will just get you killed faster.

A note on updates (or lack thereof):

To be completely honest, I'm not updating this pack right now. I'm focusing on other projects and I'm just not happy with how this modpack currently plays (and you probably won't be either).

If I'm being real, I'm not a big fan of the current state of Minecraft horror. With all due respect to the creators, most of it isn't actually scary—it just feels like cheap garbage made for TikTok kids to scream at. There are definitely much better horror modpacks out there than mine.

Play it if you want, but don't expect any patches or updates anytime soon.
