Overview

This is a modpack originally made for the Cobblemon private server Chudhaven. Aims to provide a vanilla feel alongside a large array of additional mods for the incredibly well-implemented Cobblemon Mod.

What This Modpack Adds

This modpack includes the base mod Cobblemon, as well as various cobblemon-related addons designed for a server or world for friends. Creativity for the cobblemon mods were taken into account, with a deliberate disclusion of mods that might replace things like community interaction, such as adding trainers. This modpack would be good for a server that wants to take those kinds of things into their communities hands, such as building community gyms or having community battle nights, both of which are supported heavily by included mods.

Additional Mons

This modpack includes the base cobblemon roster, as well as additional mods to try to fill out newer mons, regional variants, legendaries, etc.

• Notable mods for mon inclusions include missingmons, allthemons, and mega showdown
• Some of the mon additions require texture pack additions, which are also included in the modpack

Feature Expansion

Base cobblemon is still missing quite a few features from the games in which they draw inspiration. We wanted to make this feel more accurate and flushed-out, so we included quite a few other things to do in the modpack, such as:

• Cobbreeding to try to breed perfect or shiny cobblemon
• Mega Showdown to bring more diverse battle strategies and mechanics into the game, such as Megas, Dynamax, Gigantamax, and Terastallization
• Legendary Monuments to provide a more quest-like feel to hunting for Legendary and Mythical Cobblemon
• SimpleTms to teach your cobblemon more competitive or useful moves
• Cobblemon Raid dens to add raids such as tera and mega

Quality of Life and Community Building

We wanted to add some less mechanic-centric mods to the world to make it feel more alive and unique. As such, here are a few things that are added:

• Cobblemon Pokenave for UI elements
• More Cobblemon Tweaks for QOL improvements
• Cobblefurnies for in-world furniture
• Pokeblocks for a collectible and decorational themed items while exploring
• Stone Statues and Badges to assist in creating community-driven gyms and events
• Cobblemon Cafe helps with dressing up your mons and making them feel more unique

Additions to Minecraft

Because of all the added mods, there are some additions to the modpack aimed toward making base minecraft feel more smooth and integrated.

• Added backpacks that way modded items don’t clutter your inventory and require too many runs back to base
• Minimaps and Maps to assist in exploring large worlds with the navigation cobblemon unlock
• Chiseled blocks to customize your builds and make them fit in more with the world
• Upgradeable chests to manage storage with all of the items added by the various mods
• Armor Hider and Elytra customization to assist with roleplay and worldbuilding (custom Elytra rewards for the flying gym, anyone?)
• Quite a few performance-focused mods within Minecraft and the Fabric API to help the game run more smoothly even on weaker computers.

This modpack is meant to help a group of friends, or anyone really, build a community on their server within the world of cobblemon, without losing the heart and soul of what it feels like to hop on a new minecraft server with your pals. It’s incredible fun, and a lot to dive into.
