Functionality
The modpack aims to include the maximum possible performance, by utilizing all compatible performance mods for minecraft 1.21. I have been researching the mods since 1.21's relase and many of the core mods for this project are discontiniued, for this reason, I do not plan on updating it to future versions anytime soon.
What features does it add
This modpack has two versions, one that doesnt change the vanilla gameplay at all, only makes it a heck of a lot faster and another that makes minecraft look a lot better by adding advanced particle effects, splashes, enhanced explosion effects and many more.
My experience
This is the modpack I personally use for 1.21 and it got me from bareley getting 12 fps on the bare minimum settings, to running full seus ptgi with x512 textures on 4080 chunks of render distance at 57 fps.
Why you should download it
This is the very best performance improvement minecraft can have and is very difficult to beat. If you ever wanted to run high end shaders on potato hardware, with this modpack - you can! (not recommended) If you cant even run minecraft on 10 fps on your pc, with this modpack, you can crank the settings up and outclass some high end computers in performance.
the catch
If you decide to use shaders with this modpack, you will soon relise why I do not recommend always using them with the modpack.
- Shaders often break the 3d render of the game in such a way where it ghosts a white model of where you look.
- More often you will encounter how shaders cause the skybox to render of the wrong size, causing a white cube around the camera.
These bugs happen because of the shaders being compatible with distant horizons.
Updates
This modpack will most likeley not be updated for future versions of minecraft for these reasons:
- Some mods are discontiniued
- Some mods are incompatible in other versions
- Some mods are exclusive
- Some mods break in other versions
- Some mods require libraries that are incompatible
- Some mods skip versions
