⚡ Performance

Stable ~280 fps With 512 Render distance on 6 year old Laptop Gpu, and 4GB of allocated ram. Performance will vary depending on your hardware.

Performance tested on Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz; 16GB 2933MT/s ram (4GB Allocated); NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB (laptop edition) using lower lowest quality of chunks.

🔎 Zoom

Voxy adjusts the level of detail of chunks depending on how much screen space they actually take up. This means that even if you zoom in from far away, you won't end up looking at massive, single-colored blocks.

Voxy can render up to 2048 chunks in each directions.

💡 FAQ

Why 2 versions of Voxyris?

For server support to work you need Voxy Server mod, But it's incompatible with Voxy WorldGen (Mod that automaticly generates Voxy's chunks past your vanilla render distance). Pregenarate your world with chunky! Command: /chunky

If you want to play on servers, use Voxyris: Server

If you want to play singleplayer, use Voxyris

What is Voxy?

Voxy is a mod made by Cortex that uses Level of Detail to let you see beyond your normal render distance.

How to toggle shaders?

Press "K" to toggle shaders, Press "O" to open shader pack menu or go to Options -> Video Setting -> Shader Packs

How to change Voxy's render distance?

Go to options -> video settings -> Voxy -> Rendering

How to change quality of voxy's chunks?

Go to options -> video settings -> Voxy -> Rendering -> "Pixels^2 of subdivison size" The higher the setting lower the quality.

Bedrock support?

No.

Will you release for x.x.x Minecraft version?

Only the newest version of Voxy will be supported.

📌 Requirements

A GPU/IGPU with OpenGl 4.6 support (this means very old GPUs like 10+ years old or Macs don’t work but to make sure your GPU has Opengl 4.6 support you can always check online)
