Vulkan Enhanced

Vulkan Enhanced is a modpack centered around the usage of the Vulkan rendering API in Minecraft, rather than outdated OpenGL. Unlike OpenGL, Vulkan directly communicates with the hardware, giving a signifigant performance boost.

In addition, Vulkan Enhanced comes with many other performance-enhancement mods, and a few utility mods as well. Additionally, unlike other Vulkan-centered modpacks, Vulkan Enhanced comes with shaders! Thanks to the amazing work of xCollateral (the same person that also works on VulkanMod), Beryl allows us to have full shader support with Vulkan on some versions

Notices:

• Not Enough Vulkan currently only supports 1.21.11 through 1.21.9, so other versions will use VulkanMod Extra
• Beryl currently only supports 1.21.11. It is unknown whether it will be backported or not.

1.21.x

For users playing on 1.21.5 - 1.21.3:

There is a known issue where VulkanMod causes an out-of-memory crash at startup. Can be fixed by appending -Dorg.lwjgl.system.stackSize=256 to your game's Java arguments.
