Advanced Voicechat

A lightweight and powerful extension for the Simple Voice Chat mod/plugin on Paper servers

This plugin allows server operators to moderate and control voice chat with an easy-to-use set of commands.

Features

• Voice Broadcasts: Start a voice broadcast (/broadcast). While active, all other players are muted in voice chat so everyone can hear you clearly. End it with /broadcast end.
• Targeted Muting: Mute (/vmute <player>) and unmute (/vunmute <player>) specific playerss in voice chat making them unhearable.
• Global Muting: Mute the entire server's voice chat at once using /vmuteall, and re-enable it with /vunmuteall.
• Operator Bypass: Server operators and players with the advoicechat.admin permission can bypass all mutes and speak at any time.
• Actionbar: Players receive actionbar messages when they try to speak while muted, and broadcasters receive a reminder while their broadcast is active.

Commands & Permissions

All commands require the advoicechat.admin permission.

• /broadcast - Start a server-wide voice broadcast.
• /broadcast end - Stop your active voice broadcast.
• /vmute <player> - Mute a specific player in voice chat.
• /vunmute <player> - Unmute a specific player in voice chat.
• /vmuteall - Mute all players in voice chat.
• /vunmuteall - Unmute all players in voice chat.
• /vreload - Reload the plugin configuration without restarting the server.

Requirements

• A PaperMC (or fork) server running 1.21+
• The Simple Voice Chat plugin installed on your server.
