📢 Release v1.0.0 - Initial Release
I am excited to announce the first official release of Advanced Voicechat. This plugin extends the Simple Voice Chat plugin to give server administrators control over voice chat.
✨ Features
- Global Voice Broadcasting: Added the
/broadcastand/broadcast endcommands. When an admin is broadcasting, their audio is automatically converted into a global sound packet allowing every player on the server to hear them clearly. - Proximity Muting: While a broadcast is active, all other players are temporarily muted to ensure the broadcaster can speak without interruption.
- Targeted Moderation: Easily manage players with
/vmute <player>and/vunmute <player>, restricting their voice chat without impacting their chat. - Global Muting: Instantly silence the entire server's voice chat using the
/vmutealland/vunmuteallcommands. - Admin Bypass: Operators and players with the
advoicechat.adminpermission are completely immune to all muting actions, allowing staff to communicate at all times. - Dynamic Actionbars: Muted players receive actionbar alerts when attempting to speak, and active broadcasters receive a reminder while their broadcast is live.
🔧 Requirements
- PaperMC (or fork) 1.21+
- Simple Voice Chat API 2.5.0+
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
