AetherSentinel is a powerful and flexible anti-cheat solution for Minecraft 1.21.x servers running on Java 21. It includes a wide range of detection modules: Horizontal Motion (Speed, LongJump, HClip), Vertical Motion (Fly, Spider, HighJump, VClip, Step), Water Motion (Jesus, WaterSpeed, WaterFly), Balance (Timer), NoSlow (including NoSlowSneak), RayCast (Reach, HitBoxes), Rotation (AimBot, AimAssist), Velocity (AntiKnockBack, NoVelocity), GroundSpoof (NoFall), as well as WrongPlace and WrongBreak detections.
The system is fully configurable via config.yml, allowing you to enable or disable checks, define violation thresholds, and set custom punishment commands (e.g., kick or ban). To reduce false positives, AetherSentinel accounts for special conditions: players using elytra, riding boats, being in creative or spectator mode, or moving in water (where separate water-motion checks apply) are excluded from standard movement checks.
When severe violations occur, the anti-cheat applies its setback system — teleporting players back to their last legitimate position. In addition, administrators have access to built-in alerts that can be toggled with /aethersentinel alerts, and the configuration can be reloaded at runtime with /aethersentinel reload.
By combining advanced detection techniques, customizable punishments, and smart handling of edge cases, AetherSentinel provides reliable protection while keeping gameplay smooth and fair for legitimate players.
