AltFinder

AltFinder detects and reports players who are suspected of joining with alts in your server. It keeps track of each player's IP address and reports when the same IP address has been used by multiple accounts. When a player is suspected of joining from an alt, it detects and reports to admins about the player and potential alts they joined with.

The plugin does not punish players with alt accounts. Keep in mind that legitimate players (such as siblings sharing a home) who log in from the same IP address will still be flagged.

AltDetector automatically integrates with PlaceholderAPI if installed. Placeholder: %altdetector_alts_<playername>% Customization: The separator between alt names can be modified in config.yml.

Commands

/alts (player) - Displays potential alt accounts for the specified player, or all online players if none is specified.

/altdetector (on/off) - Toggles alerts for players suspected of joining with alt accounts.

Permissions

altfinder.alt - Grants permission to use /alts. Defaults to operators.

altfinder.detector - Grants permission to receive alt detection alerts and toggle notifications.

altfinder.admin - Grants permission to every command

Discord Linking

discord - Configures Discord webhook settings. The option sets the server name shown as the author in Discord messages.

Configuration

expiration-time - The data retention period in days (default: 30). IP data older than this is purged upon plugin startup. Consider lowering this value if IP addresses on your server change frequently.

discord - The Discord webhook URL used to send alert notifications to your Discord server.
