### Build any Minecraft GUI menu — entirely in-game. #### No YAML. No config editing. No server restarts. Just click.

---
## What is aMenus? aMenus is a **visual, in-game GUI menu creator** for Paper servers. Everything — item placement, display names, lore, click actions, requirements, currencies — is configured through in-game GUI editors while you're inside your server. No documentation needed to get started. No syntax to memorize. No files to manually edit.
--- ## Core Features
### 🖥️ Visual Drag & Drop Editor Open `/amenus edit ` and your menu appears in front of you — live and interactive. - Drag items directly from your inventory into any slot - Click any slot to open its full options panel - Set display names, write lore, toggle glowing, configure skull textures - See your changes reflected instantly — no reload required
### 🖱️ Per-Click-Type Action Chains Every slot supports **four completely independent action lists** — one per click type. | | Click Type | Example Use | |---|---|---| | ◀ | **Left Click** | Open a menu, teleport, run a command | | ▶ | **Right Click** | Open a sub-menu, send a message | | ⬆ | **Shift Click** | Purchase, deduct currency, give a reward | | ⬤ | **Middle Click** | Play a sound, close the menu | **All supported action types:** ``` RUN_COMMAND Run a command as the player RUN_COMMAND_CONSOLE Run a command as the server console MESSAGE Send a formatted chat message SOUND Play a sound effect OPEN_MENU Open another aMenus menu CLOSE_MENU Close the current menu SERVER_CONNECT Connect to a BungeeCord / Velocity server VAULT_PURCHASE Deduct Vault money and run a reward command COINS_ENGINE_PURCHASE Deduct any CoinsEngine currency PLAYER_POINTS_PURCHASE Deduct PlayerPoints ```
### 💰 Multi-Currency Support [![Vault](https://img.shields.io/badge/Vault-Economy-00FF66?style=flat-square)](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/vault.34315/) [![CoinsEngine](https://img.shields.io/badge/CoinsEngine-Custom%20Currencies-00D2FF?style=flat-square)](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/coinsengine.84121/) [![PlayerPoints](https://img.shields.io/badge/PlayerPoints-Points-AA00FF?style=flat-square)](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/playerpoints.80745/) Charge players using Vault, CoinsEngine (any named currency — gems, tokens, crystals), or PlayerPoints. Each purchase action deducts the configured amount and fires a reward command on success. Players who can't afford it get a clear feedback message. No silent failures.
### 🔒 Visual Requirement Editor Gate any action behind conditions — configured entirely inside a GUI, no files needed: | Requirement | Description | |---|---| | 💵 Vault Balance | Minimum economy balance | | 💎 CoinsEngine Currency | Any named custom currency amount | | ⭐ PlayerPoints | Point balance requirement | | 🎓 XP Level | Minimum player level | | 🎒 Item in Inventory | Specific item and quantity | | 🔑 Permission Node | Any permission string | | 📊 PlaceholderAPI Condition | Any PAPI expression |
### 👁️ View Requirements & Fallback Items Set a visibility condition on any slot. Players who don't meet it see a fallback item — or nothing at all. Perfect for showing locked vs. unlocked content without writing any extra logic.
### ✨ Slot Animations Configure any slot to cycle through multiple item frames at a configurable tick interval. Animations are synchronized automatically for every player viewing the menu.
### 🎨 Layout & Border Presets One-click geometric patterns — stop clicking 36 slots individually: | Preset | Effect | |---|---| | Outer Border | Fills the full menu perimeter | | Top & Bottom Strip | Header and footer rows only | | Side Columns | Left and right columns | | Checkerboard | Alternating two materials | | Fill All Empty | Every blank slot gets a filler | | Clear Border | Removes all perimeter items | | Shop Archetype | Pre-built shop frame layout | | Confirm Dialog | Green confirm / red cancel layout | | Server Selector | Hub layout with server node frames |
### 🧩 Custom Item Support [![Oraxen](https://img.shields.io/badge/Oraxen-Supported-FF6B35?style=flat-square)](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/oraxen.72448/) [![Nexo](https://img.shields.io/badge/Nexo-Supported-7C3AED?style=flat-square)](https://modrinth.com/plugin/nexo) [![ItemsAdder](https://img.shields.io/badge/ItemsAdder-Supported-F59E0B?style=flat-square)](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/itemsadder.73355/) Running a custom item plugin? Drag your item directly into any menu slot. aMenus detects the item ID automatically and stores it. Every player who opens the menu sees the correct custom texture — no setup required. ``` oraxen:item_id | nexo:item_id | itemsadder:namespace:item_id | ia:item_id ```
### ⚡ Dynamic Command Aliases Set `/shop`, `/warp`, `/hub` — or any command — as a menu opener directly from the editor. Aliases register at runtime. No server restart needed.
### 🔬 Live Simulation Preview Test your menu as a player before it goes live. Evaluates PlaceholderAPI placeholders with your real values and checks requirements against your actual permissions and balance. Catch issues before your players do.
### 📦 DeluxeMenus Importer Already have menus built in DeluxeMenus? ``` /amenus import ``` Materials, slot positions, lore, and click commands carry across automatically.
### 🛡️ Exploit-Proof by Design - **250ms click cooldown** — prevents GUI spam and item duplication exploits - **Server-side event cancellation** — all inventory interactions cancelled before client processing - **PersistentDataContainer tagging** — no lore-based item detection that can be faked - **Async saves** — zero TPS impact when writing data to disk on busy servers
--- ## Commands | Command | Description | |---|---| | `/amenus create ` | Create a new menu and open the editor | | `/amenus edit ` | Open an existing menu in the visual editor | | `/amenus open [player]` | Open a menu for yourself or another player | | `/amenus delete ` | Delete a menu permanently (confirmation required) | | `/amenus list` | List all currently loaded menus | | `/amenus reload` | Reload all menus and configuration from disk | | `/amenus import ` | Import a menu from a DeluxeMenus config file |
--- ## Permissions | Node | Description | |---|---| | `amenus.admin` | Full access to all commands and editor features | | `amenus.admin.create` | Create new menus | | `amenus.admin.edit` | Edit existing menus | | `amenus.admin.delete` | Delete menus | | `amenus.admin.reload` | Reload the plugin | | `amenus.open.` | Restrict who can open a specific menu |
