AntiMap
Server-side anti-minimap for Paper 1.21+.
Stops minimap and X-ray style client mods from giving players an unfair advantage — without touching a single client. Everything happens server-side, in the packets your server was already sending.
Features
- Chunk block obfuscation — hidden blocks (ores, chests, spawners) are replaced with decoys in outgoing chunk packets before minimap mods ever see them
- Three obfuscation engines — pick between a fixed decoy per area, a fully random pick per block, or a random pick per Y-layer, trading off noise against uniformity
- Exposed-block awareness — a block is only obfuscated if nothing within its neighbor radius is already visible, so legitimately-exposed ores stay untouched
- Entity-radar mitigation — reduces what radar-style minimap mods can detect about nearby entities
- Minimap-mod channel detection — flags players whose client registers known minimap plugin messaging channels
- Bypass permissions — exempt trusted staff from obfuscation or radar hiding individually

Requirements & compatibility
- Server: Paper 1.21+ (Purpur works).
- Java: 21 or newer.
- Optional soft-depends: ProtocolLib, ProtocolSupport, ViaVersion, ViaBackwards, ViaRewind, Geyser-Spigot — AntiMap runs without them, but detects and adapts to cross-version and Bedrock clients when present.
