By default:
- All your worlds (

pluginsfolder (so you never re-enter configs)
You get 1 zip on Drive like backup-2026-09-13_17-15-16.zip.
Setup in 5 minutes (do this once)
You only do this once. After that it just works.

Step 3 - Connect Google (1 click + 1 code)
Enderchest uses your own Google login, so backups count against your Drive. Nothing is shared with us.

Enderchest->Create Download JSON-> rename the file tocredentials.json
- Type: Desktop App -> name
- Upload
credentials.jsonto your server:plugins/Enderchest/credentials.json(via FTP / File Manager)
Step 4 - Paste 2 lines in config
Open plugins/Enderchest/config.yml and set:
google-drive:
auth-mode: "oauth"
folder-id: "paste-your-folder-id-here"
backup:
extra-folders: ["plugins"]
Save, then restart or run /drivebackup reload.
Step 5 - Link your account
In-game (op) or console:
/drivebackup auth
- It prints a Google link — open it, click
Allow - Your browser goes to
http://localhost:8080/?code=4/0XXXX...(page may fail to load that's fine) - Copy the
code=...part from the address bar - Run:
/drivebackup auth 4/0XXXX...
You should see OAuth success!. Done forever token is saved in plugins/Enderchest/tokens/.
Step 6 - Test
/drivebackup now
You should see:

Troubleshooting
OAuth not authorized yet
-> You skipped Step 5. Run /drivebackup auth, then /drivebackup auth <code>.
404 File not found: ...?usp=drive_link
-> paste only the ID part.
403 Service Accounts do not have storage quota
-> You are on auth-mode: service-account with a free Gmail. Google removed free quota for service accounts in 2024. Switch to auth-mode: "oauth" (Step 3-5 above). Service-account mode only works with paid Workspace Shared Drives now.
credentials.json not found
-> You didn't upload Step 3 file. Must be at plugins/Enderchest/credentials.json.
have any specific issues
-> Its probably already adressed update your .jar
