BGB_GUI – Better Geyser Bedrock GUI
A Paper/Folia API for opening Geyser/Floodgate forms (Simple, Modal, Custom) for Bedrock players. Other plugins and Skript scripts only pass data and callbacks – BGB_GUI handles sending the form and delivering the response.
This is a library/API. It adds no gameplay features on its own. Install it if a plugin or script you use requires it, or use it to build your own Bedrock menus.
Features
- Simple forms: any number of buttons, optionally with images (URL or resource pack path)
- Modal forms: yes/no dialogs with custom button labels
- Custom forms: label, input, dropdown, toggle and slider
- Kotlin & Java API with callbacks for selection, submit and close
- Skript support: open forms with effects/sections and react to responses with events and expressions
- Folia supported
Quick look
Kotlin
BgbGui.simple(player, "Shop", "Choose.", "Buy", "Cancel") { index, label -> }
Java
BgbGui.simple(player, "Shop", "Choose.", List.of("Buy", "Cancel"), (i, label) -> {});
Skript
open simple form to player:
id: "shop"
title: "Shop"
description: "Choose"
button: "Buy"
Requirements
| Software | Version |
|---|---|
| Java | 25 |
| Paper / Folia | 1.21.11 – 26.3 |
| Floodgate | 2.2.x (required for forms) |
| Geyser-Spigot | matching your Floodgate version (recommended) |
| Skript | 2.12.x (optional) |
| skript-reflect | optional, only for Floodgate import: in Skript |
The plugin name on your server is BGB_GUI.
Good to know
- BGB_GUI does not check whether a player is on Java or Bedrock. Do that check in your own plugin or script.
- If Floodgate is missing or sending fails, the API silently returns
false. - Give every Skript form its own
id, otherwise events can collide when buttons share the same label.
