CraftWallet is a powerfull mod that creates a Web3 wallet interface within Minecraft. Allowing players to make purchases directly from within the game.
The mod stores the wallet keys locally on the client device within an password encrypted vault. The keys are never sent to the server, and all transactions must be approved on the client.
📥 Install
One jar for everything. Put craftwallet.jar in mods/ on Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge or Forge, or in plugins/ on Paper, Spigot or Bukkit. Players install the same jar in their mods folder, or add it through a launcher such as Prism. Nothing else is required; Fabric API is needed on Fabric and Quilt, as usual.
On first launch the mod creates a wallet: move your mouse inside the box to add randomness, then write down the 12-word recovery phrase it shows you. A password is optional. If you skip it, the wallet unlocks on its own; if you set one, you will enter it after each launch. The phrase is the only way to recover the wallet, so keep it somewhere safe. You can copy it again later from Settings, and you can import a phrase from another Solana wallet instead of creating a new one.
The server needs CraftWallet too. Run /wallet on a server to check: it prints your wallet address when the server has it.
⚙️ Server setup
The first start writes server.toml and products.toml next to your config and sets up the merchant account. Add a product like this:
[product.vip]
name = "VIP Rank"
price = 9.99
mint = "EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v" # USDC; omit for SOL
commands = ["lp user {player} parent add vip"]
Then start a sale from any shop plugin, NPC or command block with /craftwallet buy vip <player>. The player sees the product, the amount and the exact balance changes, and approves or rejects. When the payment confirms, the commands run with placeholders such as {player} filled in. CraftWallet takes no cut; the player pays the Solana network fee unless you set sponsor-fees = true in server.toml.
✅ Compatibility
Minecraft 26.3 and Java 25. Any client works with any server. Vanilla clients can join but cannot pay.
⚠️ Notice
CraftWallet is not responsible for loss of funds. Do not share your recovery phrase or private keys. Transactions on the blockchain cannot be reversed.
The approval screen shows a simulated preview of the balance changes before you sign. Not every instruction can be read this way, so only approve payments on servers you trust.
📝 Note from the dev
I've spent years in Minecraft modding, plugin development and running servers. Running costs are a constant problem, and the usual answer is a third-party donation store that keeps up to 5% of every payment. CraftWallet exists to give that back to servers. I also think card processors have too much power, and I'd like players to learn how a crypto wallet works somewhere safe, without the scams that catch people new to crypto.
