Dé à Coudre
Dé à Coudre is a multiplayer Minecraft jumping minigame for Paper servers.
Players take turns jumping from a platform into a water pool. Every successful landing fills one water cell with the player's selected block, progressively turning the pool into a colorful mosaic and making each new jump more difficult.
Missing the water costs a life.
The last player alive wins.
About
Dé à Coudre is built around simple rules and progressively increasing difficulty.
Each player chooses a block before the game starts. When they successfully land in an available water cell, that cell becomes their selected block.
As the pool fills up, the remaining landing zones become smaller and more dangerous.
A failed jump costs one life, so every attempt matters.
There is also a special mechanic called the Perfect Jump: landing inside an isolated 1×1 water cell surrounded by filled cells rewards the player with an extra life.

How to Play
1. Join
Join an available arena and choose your block.
/dac join [arena]
You can open the block selector with:
/dac block
2. Countdown
Once enough players are ready, the countdown begins.
The countdown uses progressive colors and sounds to clearly indicate that the game is about to start.
3. Jump
Players jump one after another from the configured jump platform.
4. Fill
When a player successfully lands in an available water cell, that cell is replaced by their selected block.
The available landing area therefore becomes smaller after every successful jump.
5. Survive
Missing the water costs one life.
If the player still has lives remaining, they stay in the game.
When they reach 0 lives, they are eliminated and become a spectator.
6. Win
The last player still alive wins the game.
The arena is then automatically restored for the next match.
Perfect Jump
A Perfect Jump is the special Dé à Coudre mechanic.
It happens when a player successfully lands inside a 1×1 water cell whose four horizontal neighbouring cells are already filled.

Only the four orthogonal directions matter:
- North
- South
- East
- West
Diagonal cells do not matter.
Reward
A successful Perfect Jump grants:
+1 life
The configured maximum number of lives still applies.
The player also receives dedicated visual and sound feedback.
