Or found a nearly-broken tool with a rare enchantment you wish you could save? Our disenchanting mechanic provides a straightforward solution using the anvil you already know. - **Simple Anvil Process**: To disenchant an item, a player simply places the enchanted item in the first anvil slot and a standard book in the second. - **Controlled Transfer**: For a configurable experience cost, the enchantment is removed from the item and transferred directly onto the book. The original item is left clean, ready to be re-enchanted or used as a crafting ingredient. - **Preserve Your Gear**: This feature allows players to salvage valuable enchantments from worn-out or obsolete gear, preventing waste and rewarding smart resource management.
### Book Splitting: Divide Your Enchanted Books An enchanted book with multiple enchantments can be powerful, but it's not always practical. What if you only need one of the enchantments for a specific item? The Book Splitting feature allows for precise and strategic use of your enchanted books. - **Intuitive Splitting**: By combining a multi-enchantment book with a blank book on the anvil, players can lift a single enchantment off the original book. - **Strategic Application**: This process results in two books: the original book with one less enchantment, and a new book containing the single enchantment that was split off.
