Dying Gives OP Items

What is this project even about?

We’ve all been there: you make one tiny mistake, slip into lava, or get blindsided by a Creeper, and boom—hours of progress gone. It’s frustrating.

So, I decided to flip that entirely on its head. Instead of punishing you for messing up, Dying is OP turns every single death into an absolute jackpot. The moment you die, the game rewards your "failure" by dropping an explosion of ridiculously overpowered, top-tier survival loot right at your feet. It’s perfect for chaotic survival runs, "Minecraft But..." style videos, or just messing around with friends.

🧩 What you need to know before installing

• Citizens is Required: Because of how the backend handles entity interactions, you must have the Citizens plugin installed on your server for this to work. You can grab the correct build from their official Spigot or Jenkins pages.
• Server Setup: Just toss it into your server's plugins folder alongside Citizens, give the server a quick restart, and you're good to go.

Quick Start Guide

1. Grab the latest .jar file from the Versions tab.
2. Make sure you already have Citizens in your server's plugins folder.
3. Drop our DyingGivesOPItems file right in there with it.
4. Restart your server, jump in, and go find a way to die to get your first jackpot!
