Easy Alert
A simple and fully customizable alert plugin for Minecraft servers. Type /alert Server restarts in 5 minutes and every player sees it as a title on their screen.
Features
- Custom Command Name: Call it
/alert,/bc,/announceor anything else, and add as many aliases as you like. It tab-completes like any normal command. - On-Screen Alerts: The alert shows up as a title and subtitle in the middle of the screen, so nobody misses it in chat.
- MiniMessage & HEX Support: Gradients, HEX colors and bold text with MiniMessage, as well as standard Minecraft color codes (
&a,&c, etc.). - Preview Before Sending: See exactly how an alert looks before anyone else does.
- Info Command: Check your settings, the last alert, and which permissions any online player has.
- A Permission for Every Command: Give your staff only the commands they need. Commands they can't use don't even show up for them.
- Admin Logs: Everything admins do is saved to a log file, one file per day.
- Optional Sound & Cooldown: A short ping with every alert, and a wait time between alerts. Both are off by default.

Commands
Alert
/alert <message>
Shows the message as a title on the screen of every online player.
For example:
/alert <gradient:#FF5555:#FFAA00>Server restarts in 5 minutes</gradient>
The command name and its aliases are set in config.yml. Running the command without a message shows how to use it.
Permission: easyalert.use
Help
/easyalert help
Lists the Easy Alert commands you are allowed to use. Click a line to put the command in your chat box.
Permission: easyalert.help
Info
/easyalert info
Shows the plugin version, the alert command and its aliases, how long the title stays on screen, whether the sound and the cooldown are on, how many online players can see alerts, the last alert and who sent it, and a ✔ / ✘ list of your own permissions.
Permission: easyalert.info
Info Player
/easyalert info <player>
Shows the same permission list for another online player. This is useful when someone says they don't see alerts.
Permission: easyalert.info.others
Preview
/easyalert preview <message>
Shows the alert only to the command sender, so you can try out colors without spamming online players.
Permission: easyalert.preview
Reload
/easyalert reload
Reloads config.yml without restarting the server. If the file has a mistake, the old settings are kept and you get a message about it.
A new command name or new aliases only take effect after a restart.
Permission: easyalert.reload
Placeholders
<message>— The text typed after the command. Works intitleandsubtitle.
Colors
- MiniMessage:
<red>,,<gradient:#FF5555:#FFAA00>Alert</gradient>(full format) - HEX:
<#55FF7F> - Alternative HEX:
#55FF7For7FF7F - Minecraft Colors:
&a,&c,&l, etc.
Colors in the alert text itself need the easyalert.colors permission. Without it, the text is shown exactly as typed.
Hide Alerts
Every player has the following permission by default:
easyalert.see
Take it away and that player won't see alerts anymore. For example, with LuckPerms:
/lp user Steve permission set easyalert.see false
That's pretty much the whole plugin, good luck with the server!
