--- Help needed? Check out our [Discord Server](https://discord.gg/DyX736yAMz)! ## **Why this plugin?** Happy Ghast Rework allows you to make your Happy Ghast faster in a vanilla, simple, and balanced way by putting the Soul Speed Enchantment on a Harness. ## Features - Allows putting the configured enchantment on harnesses - Makes Happy Ghasts with an enchanted Harness faster - Speed boost scales with the enchantment level - Fully configurable with all the values and settings you'll need - Still Feels Vanilla ## Recipes

Combining in an Anvil:

First Slot: Any Harness
Second Slot: Enchanted Book with Soul Speed 1-3 (or your configured enchantment)

The Result:

Enchantment: The enchantment from the book is applied
When equipped: When a Happy Ghast equips this Harness, the displayed flying speed will be added to its base speed.

## Speed Comparison Average speed when flying with a Happy Ghast, using the default values in the config: ### Normal Ghast: 0.05 That's **8 Blocks per Second**, nearly the same as walking — feels really slow. ### Level 1 Ghast: 0.065 That's **12 Blocks per Second**, faster than walking, but not as noticeable as the higher levels. ### Level 2 Ghast: 0.078 That's **15 Blocks per Second**, definitely faster than walking — already feels fast! ### Level 3 Ghast: 0.102 That's **19 Blocks per Second**, over double the speed of a normal Happy Ghast and much faster than sprint-jumping on Ice. ## Config ```yaml # ====================================== # HappyGhastRework Config # ====================================== # Missing features, bugs, or support needed? -> Heres our dc! https://discord.gg/DyX736yAMz # The values added for each level of your chosen enchantment # Values higher than 0.4 may cause game lag! speed-modifiers: level-1: 0.015 level-2: 0.028 level-3: 0.052 # The enchantment that can be put on a harness. # "minecraft:soul_speed" or "minecraft:swift_sneak" recommended enchantment: "minecraft:soul_speed" # The combining cost in the anvil, multiplied by the enchantment level enchantment-cost-multiplier: 6 # Whether to add lore to the item add-lore: true simplify-value: true # Whether to send debug messages debug: false #NOTE: Currently this config requires a restart ``` This plugin uses [bStats](https://bstats.org/) to monitor servers using Happy Ghast Rework
