Configuration
To configure the plugin, you only need to edit the config.yml
file and restart your server. The most critical value to adjust is damageIncrease
.
For reference, here are some configuration examples:
- Default Setting: For my server, I use
0.005
. With this setting, at day 500 of Minecraft (approximately 7 real-life days), a zombie inflicts 8 hearts of damage. - High Difficulty: If you prefer a more challenging experience, you might set
damageIncrease
to0.5
. - Low Progression: For a slower progression, values like
0.001
or0.0008
are recommended.
Adjust these settings according to your desired difficulty and gameplay experience.
Have You Ever Felt Bored After Getting Diamond Armor?
The Challenge
In Minecraft, once you’ve equipped full diamond or netherite armor and shield, the game can sometimes become less challenging. For instance, even an Enderman doesn't deal much damage anymore, which can make the game less engaging.
Introducing Our New Plugin
With Harder, you can add a new layer of challenge to your Minecraft experience. Here’s what it does:
1. Progressive Enemy Damage
- Increase Difficulty Over Time: As you advance in the game, the damage dealt by enemies will gradually increase. This makes even well-equipped players face new challenges as they progress.
- Customizable Settings: You can adjust the rate at which enemy damage increases to suit your preferred level of difficulty.
Why This Plugin?
- Revitalize Your Experience: It adds excitement and challenge, keeping the game engaging even after you’ve reached high levels of gear.
- Customizable: Tailor the difficulty to fit your playstyle and keep the game fun and challenging.
Target Audience: Who is this plugin designed for? (e.g., experienced players, beginners, specific server types) Compatibility: What Minecraft versions is it compatible with?
