The "Vital Apple," obtained via the OP-only command /giveauricapple <player> <hearts> or with a 10% chance from naturally generated chests (with 1-3 hearts), permanently increases a player's max health by a specified number of hearts (1 heart = 2 health points). Conversely, the "Cursed Death Apple," crafted with /givecursedapple <player> <hearts>, reduces max health (minimum 1 heart), inflicts 3 hearts of instant damage, and applies Blindness and Nausea for 3 seconds, overriding the default golden apple effects like regeneration and absorption. The /resethearts <player> command (OP-only) restores a player's max health to the default 10 hearts (20 points). Using custom model data, the plugin ensures these items are distinct, offering a balanced mix of risk and reward for server gameplay.
