HEffects
Permanent potion effects for every player that can't be removed.
Pick the effects in the config and every player on the server keeps them with an infinite duration. Milk, dying, respawning, totems, /effect clear and other plugins can't take them away.
✨ Features
- Infinite effects: a true ∞ duration on 1.19.4+, and the longest possible duration on older versions.
- Can't be removed: on 1.13+ removals are blocked before they happen, so the effect never disappears. On older versions it comes back on the next tick.
- Survives death: effects are given back right after respawning.
- Stronger potions still work: drink Speed V over a permanent Speed I and the potion works normally. The permanent effect returns when it runs out.
- Full control: set the level, particles, icon and ambient style for each effect.
- Old and new effect names: use
jump_boostorJUMP,hasteorFAST_DIGGING. Both work. - Clean uninstall: effects are taken off when players leave and put back when they join, so nothing is saved to player data. If you ever remove the plugin, nobody is stuck with infinite effects.
- Instant reload: change the config and run
/heffects reload. No restart needed.
⚡ Lightweight
- No per-player data stored.
- One small repeating check on Paper and Spigot servers, and one small task per player on Folia (removed when they leave).
- No NMS and no dependencies. A single tiny jar.
