Changes
HUDEngine 1.1.0 (October 4, 2026)
Minecraft 26.3 support. 26.3 changed the text shader again, and on 1.0.0 players with a 26.3 client didn't see the HUD. The new version supports 1.21.4–26.3.
ItemsAdder support. The new pack.export-folder option writes HUDEngine's assets into another plugin's content folder: ItemsAdder merges them into its own pack, and players get one pack instead of two. The export includes the shader for your server's version, and each new export removes only the files the previous one wrote. If ItemsAdder's text effects or scoreboard-number hiding are on, HUDEngine warns at startup, since they replace the same shader. Setup: Merging with ItemsAdder.
Reload applies more without a restart. /hudengine reload now picks up huds.tick-period, huds.disable-for-bedrock, skins and resource-pack, and a language change reaches every message. A restart is still needed only for enabled, starter-hud and metrics.
Colour typos are now reported. An unknown colour such as grean used to silently turn white. Now the plugin warns and suggests the correct name.
Pack icon. Documented that you can put your own pack.png (a server logo, for example) next to config.yml, and it becomes the pack's icon in the client's pack list. This worked before, but I forgot to mention it.
There were no API changes.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
