InvisNames
Turn every invisible kill into a mystery.
InvisNames keeps invisible killers anonymous by obfuscating their names in both death messages and the victim's death screen. Instead of instantly revealing who landed the final blow, the killer's identity remains hidden, making stealth gameplay more immersive and rewarding.
✨ Features
- 🎭 Obfuscates the names of invisible killers.
- 💀 Hides the killer's identity in both death messages and the death screen.
- ⚡ Lightweight and optimized for performance.
- 🔌 Plug-and-play — no configuration needed.
- 🪶 Built exclusively for Paper servers.
📸 How It Works
When a player dies to someone with the Invisibility effect, the killer's name is replaced with obfuscated text (§k) wherever it would normally appear after death.
This means:
- The victim won't know who killed them.
- Other players won't see the killer's identity in the death message.
- Invisible ambushes remain truly anonymous.

💡 Inspiration
This plugin was inspired by a mechanic featured on Strength SMP, where invisible killers remain anonymous after eliminating another player. InvisNames recreates that experience as a lightweight, standalone Paper plugin.
