ItemMark – Automatic Item Lore Marking
Have you ever suspected that someone has stolen an item from you?
This plugin helps to have control over the ownership of the items by adding a mark with the name of the person who created it and the date.
ItemMark is a plugin designed to audit the ownership and origin of certain items on the server. It allows you to automatically log who created or checked out an item from creative mode, adding a message to the item's lore.
🔹 Features:
✅ Crafting Log: Items created through crafting will display the player's name and creation date in their lore.
✅ Creative Marking: Items checked out of creative mode will also be marked with a separate message.
✅ Flexible Configuration: Marking of creative items can be enabled or disabled in the configuration file.
✅ Cleanup Command: Admins can remove the lore of an item if necessary.
✅ Use of PersistentDataContainer: The audit mark is secure and cannot be manually removed by players.
This plugin is ideal for servers looking for more control over item provenance and want to prevent uncontrolled distribution of items in-game.
📌 Command: /imclear
🔹 Description: Clears the lore of an item.
🔹 Usage: /imclear (must be run with an item in hand).
🔹 Permission: itemmark.clear (only players with this permission can use it).
🔹 Compatibility: Works with any item that has lore or has been marked by the plugin.
📖 Example usage:
1️⃣ The player is holding an item with lore in their hand.
2️⃣ Runs /imclear.
3️⃣ If you have permission, the item's lore and mark will be removed.
⚠️ Notes: If the item has no lore and has not been audited, a warning message will be displayed. It does not affect other tags on the item, only the plugin's lore and audit mark.
