A home for every team
Give your clan an identity with a custom name, display tag, color and description. Its profile brings together the leader, founding date, member list and recruitment status.
Manage your team through three roles:
| Role | Responsibilities |
|---|---|
| Leader | Manage the clan profile, appoint officers, transfer leadership and disband the clan |
| Officer | Handle invitations and applications and remove regular members |
| Member | Participate in the clan and use permitted features |
Officers cannot remove the leader or other officers. Sensitive actions require confirmation.
Players can belong to one clan at a time. Creating or joining a clan clears their other pending invitations and applications.
Organized menus with fixed positions
Spend less time searching for settings.
Menu functions keep their assigned positions, even when other features are disabled. Content stays inside the frame, and navigation remains in the bottom row.
Leaders and officers have a dedicated Clan Settings page with clearly separated controls for:
- Profile: name, color, display tag and description
- Recruitment: recruitment status and applications
- Members: invitations, member lists and role management
- Management: clan deletion with confirmation
Available controls follow the player’s role and the server’s enabled features.
Invite friends. Welcome new members.
Send direct invitations or open your clan to applications.
Players can review invitations individually, see who sent them and check how much time remains. They can also withdraw their own pending applications.
Closing recruitment blocks new applications while keeping direct invitations available. Expired entries are cleaned up automatically, and login reminders highlight outstanding invitations and applications.
Keep clan conversations together
Switch between public and private chat with /clan chat, or send one clan message without changing your chat mode:
/clan chat <message>
You can mute incoming clan messages independently of your outgoing chat mode.
Chat notices use a consistent prefix, readable colors and clear instructions. Input prompts include a time limit and a clickable cancellation option.
If private clan chat becomes unavailable, messages are blocked instead of being sent publicly.
Choose the features your server needs
The core clan system works without an economy plugin. Optional modules let you expand it when you are ready.
Levels, the virtual bank, plots, external API writes and action costs are disabled by default on fresh installations.
Clan levels
Give clans progression through configurable XP thresholds and level limits. Your own plugins can award XP through the developer API.
Automatic XP rewards for block breaking, kills or playtime are not included.
Virtual clan bank
Maintain a shared virtual balance with configurable balance caps, transaction limits and daily withdrawal limits.
The clan bank is separate from player wallets. Automatic transfers between the two require a developer integration.
Configurable action costs
With a compatible economy provider, set individual prices for:
- Clan creation and renaming
- Clan colors and display tags
- Description changes
- Recruitment changes
- Invitations
Prices default to zero. Without a compatible enabled economy provider, fees are inactive and player-facing cost displays are hidden.
Invalid or unchanged clan actions are not charged.
Clan plots with PlotSquared
Link eligible plots to your clan and configure supported policies for building, containers, PvP and explosion block damage.
Plot limits and allowed worlds are configurable. Linking requires a single-owner, unmerged plot, the appropriate clan role and an available plot slot.
Pre-existing PlotSquared trust entries are preserved. Universal WorldEdit, FAWE and automation protection is not included.
Administration in game
Open /kyveraclans edit to manage your server’s clan system.
Administrators can:
- Manage individual clans, profiles, members and leadership
- Adjust clan and member limits
- Configure invitation durations and application expiry
- Enable or disable player features
- Select the server language
- Review the action log, storage status and backup information
- Open separate settings pages for levels, the bank, plots, the API and costs
Background saving combines pending changes and retries failed writes. New clan changes are temporarily blocked when storage is unavailable. Automatic backups retain previous clan data and configuration.
English and German included
The core interface includes English and German menus, descriptions, prompts, confirmations and chat notices.
English is the default. To switch languages:
- Open
/kyveraclans edit. - Select Features and permissions → Language.
- Choose English or Deutsch.
- Run
/kyveraclans reload.
The language applies to the whole server. Translations are embedded in the JAR; separate editable language files are not created.
Player names, clan names, descriptions and chat content keep their original text.
Optional integrations
Vault and PlotSquared adapters are included in the main Kyvera Clans JAR. Install the external dependencies separately when you want to use them.
| Integration | Function |
|---|---|
| Vault | Connect compatible player-wallet economies for clan action fees |
| Vault-compatible economy plugins | Provide payments through their registered Economy service |
| PlotSquared | Link clan plots and enforce supported permission policies |
| PlaceholderAPI | Display clan information in compatible plugins |
| TAB | Display clan placeholders through PlaceholderAPI |
| Custom plugins | Connect through ClanApi and ClanEconomy |
Vault requires an actual economy provider. The PlotSquared adapter targets the 7/8 API families; your installed version must be checked for compatibility.
Enable only what you use
Both built-in adapters can be disabled independently in config.yml:
integrations:
vault:
enabled: false
plotsquared:
enabled: false
Restart the server after changing adapter settings. These switches disable Kyvera Clans’ connections, while the external plugins remain installed and available.
Clan modules and fees have separate switches. Disabling a feature retains stored clan data. Plot policy enforcement requires the active PlotSquared adapter.

| Placeholder | Output |

Developer API
Connect your own quests, rewards, economies and plot systems through the public API.
The included API.md explains service registration, events, operation IDs, result codes and custom economy providers.
The API JAR is a developer dependency and should not be installed as a server plugin. Payment recovery limitations are documented; uncertain Vault crash outcomes require verified administrator reconciliation.

Get started
- Stop your Paper server and back up existing data.
- Place
KyveraClans-1.2.4-Paper.jarin thepluginsfolder. - Remove previous Kyvera Clans JARs.
- Start the server and open
/clans. - Configure your server with
/kyveraclans edit.
Only one Kyvera Clans plugin JAR is needed.
When upgrading from the separate Citybuild Bridge, remove its JAR but retain its data folder for migration.
Configuration, clan data and documentation are stored in plugins/KyveraClans. The included English README and API guide explain advanced setup.
Update notifications
Optional Modrinth checks can notify configured administrators and operators when a newer version is available, with a clickable download link.
Checks can be disabled. Updates are not installed automatically.
Requirements and compatibility
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Platform | Paper |
| Java | 25 |
| Target Minecraft versions | 26.1.2–26.2 |
| Client-side installation | None |
The plugin compiles against Paper 26.2 and declares a minimum API version of 26.1.2. Bukkit, Spigot and Purpur support is not claimed.
Validation: full compilation, 75 automated regression tests and matching English/German translation checks. Live gameplay, inventory rendering and compatibility with your exact server and dependency versions still require testing.
