LeashPlayers is an immersive, feature-packed roleplay plugin that allows players to leash, collar, and command other players — completely standalone and 100% vanilla client compatible! No client mods, Forge, Fabric, or custom resource packs required.

Turn friends into obedient pet cats, tie them to fence posts, command them using an interactive Remote Controller, or release them into the wild!

✨ Key Features

• 🪢 Physical Vanilla Lead Mechanics

  • Right-Click another player with a regular Lead to send an interactive GUI consent prompt (Accept / Decline).
  • Server Operators (OP) or players with leashplayers.force can instantly leash players without confirmation!
  • Real thick vanilla leash rope connects the master's hand directly to the pet's neck.
  • Smooth follow physics: pets beyond 4 blocks are gently pulled toward their master.
  • Anti-escape protection: pets attempting to run or teleport away (>25 blocks) are snapped back to their master's feet!

• 🎮 Interactive Pet Controller Remote (/petremote)

  • Masters automatically receive a magic Pet Controller remote item. Right-Click in air to open a command interface:
  • 🕊 Walk Free / Re-leash: Toggle whether the pet is pulled on a lead or allowed to roam freely nearby.
  • 🪑 Sit / Stand: Command your pet to sit in place or stand back up.
  • ⚡ Teleport to Master: Instant summon to the master's feet.
  • 👀 Face Master: Forces the pet to immediately turn around and look at you.
  • 🐱 Command to Meow: Forces the pet to purr and meow with happy heart particles.
  • 😾 Command to Hiss: Forces the pet to hiss with angry smoke puffs.
  • 🐟 Feed Treat: Feed a delicious fish treat to grant health regeneration and hearts.
  • 💔 Kick Out to Streets: Disown the pet, broadcasting an alert to the server and teleporting them into the wilderness as a free stray!

• 📌 Fence Hitching & Break Mechanics

  • Right-Click any fence post while leading your pet to tie them securely to the post!
  • If the fence post is broken by an axe, explosion, or player, the leash knot pops off and drops naturally.

• 🐱 Automatic Cat Cosmetics & Perks

  • Leashed pets automatically gain miniature 3D cat ears, swaying tail particles, and complete fall damage immunity!
  • Sneaking causes the pet to purr for their master. Creepers refuse to target pet cats.
  • Combat sounds: fighting mobs produces fierce cat hissing and claw impacts.

• ⚡ Master Protection & Punishment

  • Disobedient pets attempting to hit or shoot their master are struck by lightning, knocked back with an anvil sound, and blasted with a huge warning title: DON'T HIT MASTER!

• 💾 Permanent SQLite Persistence

  • Leashes, collar colors, and ownership bonds are saved in leash.db. If the server restarts, players disconnect, or the pet dies, they respawn right at their master's feet with their leash restored!

• 🌐 Multi-Language (EN / RU)

  • Fully configurable messages, titles, and prompts inside config.yml.

💻 Commands & Permissions

• /collar <color>

  • Permission: leashplayers.collar (Default: Everyone)
  • Description: Changes collar color (red, blue, pink, black, gold, green).

• /unleash

  • Permission: leashplayers.use (Default: Everyone)
  • Description: Master releases all their leashed pets.

• /petremote

  • Permission: leashplayers.use (Default: Everyone)
  • Description: Gives the master a replacement Pet Controller remote.

• leashplayers.force

  • Default: Operators (OP)
  • Allows instantly leashing players without opening a consent GUI.

• Supported Versions: 1.21.x (1.21, 1.21.1+)
• Java Requirement: Java 21 or higher
• Dependencies: None! 100% Standalone.
