LongerPotions upgrades Tier II potions to a full 8 minutes (08:00) while maintaining 100% vanilla feel, authentic liquid textures, and standard brewing mechanics.

⚡ 100% Server-Side: Players do not need to install any client mods to join or see the changes!

✨ Features

  • ⏱️ Full 8-Minute Durations: Both Strength II and Speed II last 8:00 (9,600 ticks) instead of the vanilla 1:30 (90 seconds).

    • 🍶 Regular Drinkable Potions

    • 💨 Lingering Potions & Area Effect Clouds

  • ⚗️ Seamless Brewing Stand Integration:
    • Place your normal Strength I / Speed I potions into the brewing stand with Glowstone Dust.
    • When brewing finishes, all 3 slots instantly become 8-minute Tier II potions!
  • 🛡️ **Level I Potions Untouched:
    • Standard Strength I (3:00 / 8:00) and Speed I (3:00 / 8:00) remain completely vanilla and can still be brewed and used normally.
  • 🎨 Authentic Vanilla Textures:
    • No weird dye overlays! Strength keeps its iconic golden-amber yellow, and Speed keeps its sky-blue / cyan liquid texture.
  • 🏷️ Clean Tooltips:
    • Hides the client's default hardcoded (1:30) tag and displays a clean blue Strength II (8:00) or Speed II (8:00) tooltip.
  • 🎒 Creative Mode Quality-of-Life:
    • Search Strength or Speed in the Creative Inventory: clicking or taking a Tier II potion automatically transforms it into the 8:00 version on your cursor!
    • Includes an in-game Creative GUI menu (/potions) for quick item retrieval.

    • Uses Paper's modern Regionized Scheduling API and Brigadier commands for thread-safety and lag-free performance.

⚗️ How to Brew in Survival

  1. Awkward Potion + Blaze Powder ➔ Potion of Strength I (3:00)
  2. Potion of Strength I + Glowstone Dust ➔ Potion of Strength II (8:00) (All 3 slots!)
  3. Awkward Potion + Sugar ➔ Potion of Swiftness I (3:00)
  4. Potion of Swiftness I + Glowstone Dust ➔ Potion of Swiftness II (8:00) (All 3 slots!)

(Gunpowder and Dragon's Breath work normally to convert them to Splash and Lingering forms!)

Permissions

  • longerpotions.use — Allows players to use /potions and /getpotion (Default: True for all players / ops)

📥 Installation

  1. Download the latest LongerPotions-x.x.x.jar.
  2. Drop it into your server's plugins/ directory.
  3. Restart or start your server.
  4. Enjoy long-lasting potions!

Requirements
