mClans
Persistent, levelled clans with diplomacy, homes, banking, and progression for Paper, Purpur, and Folia.
What it does
- Implements create, invite, join, leave, kick, promote, demote and confirmed disband flows.
- Enforces unique names/tags, reserved words, owner protection and role hierarchy.
- Starts clans at five members and expands the configured limit through point levels.
- Awards PvP points with a per-killer/per-victim anti-farm cooldown.
- Provides Folia-safe friendly-fire protection and private clan chat.
- Stores the clan bank and every balance change in an append-only ledger.
- Connects the bank to Vault for deposits and permission-controlled withdrawals.
- Supports confirmed ownership transfers and managing offline clan members.
- Provides mutual alliances, enemy/neutral relations, and optional allied PvP protection.
- Provides one shared clan home with a configurable teleport cooldown.
- Shows the ten highest-scoring clans with deterministic ranking.
- Shows clan progression and members in a read-only GUI.
- Exposes membership and ally checks through Bukkit Services.
The default configuration is playable without optional dependencies. Clan creation is free until economy.creation-cost is changed. Wars, claims and cross-proxy synchronization remain separate modules so enabling the social core does not silently alter world protection or PvP rules.
Requirements
- Java 25
- Paper, Purpur or Folia 26.2
Vault and an economy provider are required only for a non-zero creation cost and bank transfers. mReputation, mBadges and PlaceholderAPI remain optional integration targets. The core plugin starts without them.
Commands
/clan create <name> <tag>/clan invite <player>and/clan accept <name|tag>/clan info [name|tag]/clan leave,/clan kick <player>/clan promote|demote <player>/clan transfer <player> confirm/clan ff <on|off>/clan bank [balance|deposit|withdraw] [amount]/clan sethomeand/clan home/clan ally|enemy|neutral <name|tag>/clan top/clan disband confirm/cc <message>/clan reload
Permissions: mclans.use, mclans.admin, mclans.reload.
Language and configuration
English is selected by default. Set language: ru_RU and run /clan reload to switch the interface to Russian. Names, tags, invitation expiry, level thresholds, member limits, PvP rewards, home cooldown, allied protection, economy cost and telemetry are documented in the generated config.yml.
Storage
Clan state uses a versioned local H2 database on a dedicated virtual thread. Creation and joining are transactional. Names and tags are unique at the database layer, member capacity is rechecked while accepting an invite, a clan owner cannot silently leave, and the bank cannot become negative.
Build
./gradlew clean build
The plugin JAR is written to build/libs; the Bukkit Services API is built in api/build/libs.
