Ghost Spear

Craft a spear that lets you fight from outside your own body. Inspired by the dash glitch mechanic from Manepear's speed/combat video, this brings that same effect to your Paper server.

How it works

Give a weapon a Ghost Spear with /makespear, then left-click to slip out of your body. Your player is hidden from everyone else on the server and replaced with a lookalike decoy standing right where you froze. You're free to move around unseen while the decoy sits there looking like you never left.

If someone attacks the decoy, you take that damage instead, so hiding isn't free protection.

Land a hit with the spear while ghosted and you instantly dash onto your target and strike them dead on the spot, then your decoy disappears and you're back to normal. If you don't land a hit in time, you snap back into your body automatically.

Commands

/makespear, turns your held weapon into a Ghost Spear (needs ghostspear.craft, op by default)

/cancelghost, manually cancel your own ghost state early (needs ghostspear.use, everyone by default)
