Changes
- Added projectile compensation for arrows, tridents, snowballs, eggs and potions
- Melee now uses the attacker's own position and rotation from the moment the attack packet arrived
- Melee accepts a hit if either the rewound or the current hitbox qualifies, so compensation never makes hitting harder than vanilla
- Added a rewind cap and interpolation delay, both configurable
- Reach now follows the entity interaction range attribute instead of a fixed 5.0
- Tracks players only, in a ring buffer, with interpolation between snapshots
- Added config.yml, including a debug mode that logs every compensated attack
- PacketEvents is now relocated inside the jar, so it will not clash with other plugins
- Requires Paper or a fork such as Purpur
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
