Details
Mining with controlled rewards The assigned mining role controls Haste and three independent reward opportunities: a natural-drop copy, one building item, and one material from its own pool.
Main features
Four configurable mining roles. Haste based on the assigned group. Natural-drop copies restricted by an allowlist. A separate chance for one matching building drop. A separate pool of random extra materials. Short sound and visual feedback for a reward.
Typical uses
Mining and resource worlds. Roles assigned manually to match the server story. Rewards scaled for the server economy. A dedicated mining backend in a proxy network.
Who mining rewards.
The plugin's default settings are described below. Traveller is the name used here for the default profile, which is automatically used by every player without a manually assigned role. An administrator assigns each role; the plugin does not promote players automatically. The three bonus rolls are independent, while the listed Silk chance replaces the regular natural-copy chance when Silk Touch is used.
-
A Traveller enters the mine with Haste I: 8% for a drop copy (Silk 0%), 12% for a building item, and 1% for coal or raw copper from the extra pool.
-
A Miner receives Haste II. The chances become 16% (Silk 4%), 20%, and 2%; the extra pool contains coal, raw iron, copper and gold, redstone, and an amethyst shard.
-
A Master Miner keeps Haste II but raises the chances to 24% (Silk 8%), 24%, and 4%. The extra pool contains diamond, lapis lazuli, and emerald.
-
Hephaistos mines with Haste III and chances of 32% (Silk 24%), 28%, and 8%. The role inherits the Master Miner pool and adds mysterious extra rewards. It is intentionally a very powerful trusted role, intended mainly for a server administrator; it can also manage MINE HERE role assignments.
The default settings can substantially change the pace of mining and the game's economy, so their values should be adapted to the specific world before deployment.
