GolemCatcher is a lightweight and highly requested utility plugin that allows you to pick up Iron Golems, store them in Spawn Eggs, and even grant them the power of Mending!

✨ Features 📦 Pick Up Golems: Sneak (Shift) and Right-Click an Iron Golem to instantly pick it up. The golem is safely stored in an Iron Golem Spawn Egg in your inventory!

🧠 Smart Memory (Mending): Golems picked up by this plugin are marked with a special, invisible tag. If you place them back down, they remember that they are "special".

💚 Healing from XP (Mending Ability): Golems placed from these special eggs have a unique ability: they absorb nearby Experience Orbs to heal themselves!

🧼 Clean Interface: No annoying floating names above the golem's head. The ability is indicated elegantly in the item's lore (description) inside your inventory.

⚙️ Lightweight & Optimized: The plugin runs on a highly efficient task loop and uses the modern Paper API to ensure zero lag on your server.

🛠️ How to Use Find an Iron Golem in your world.

Hold Shift (sneak) and Right-Click the golem with an empty hand.

The golem will disappear, and you will receive a Spawn Egg in your inventory.

Right-click the ground with the egg to place your golem back.

Mending Mechanic: Drop some Experience Orbs (XP) near the golem. It will automatically absorb the XP and heal itself (1 XP = 5 HP)!

⚠️ Important Notes & Limitations Server Restart: Currently, the "Mending" ability is stored in the server's memory. If the server restarts, golems that are already placed in the world will lose their Mending ability until picked up and placed again. (Picking them up and placing them again will restore the ability).

Health Reset: When picked up and placed back down, the golem will spawn with full health. (Health preservation is not currently supported due to API limitations with Spawn Eggs).
