Build with quarter-size blocks
MiniBlocks lets you place pieces at 1/4 the size of a normal block, anywhere inside the block grid. Three shapes: cubes, panels and beams.
No mods. No resource pack. Vanilla clients just see it.
The difference: solid pieces
Most decoration plugins use display entities — they look great, but you walk straight through them.
Mark a piece solid and it gets a real hitbox. You can stand on it. Build stairs, ledges, platforms — and actually use them.
Solid pieces cost more performance, so you only pay for the ones that need it. Railings and steps: solid. Trim under the ceiling: not.
How to use
/mb— toggle build mode- Sneak + right click — place a piece where you aim
- Left click — remove it
/mb shape— cycle cube / panel / beam/mb solid— toggle solid pieces
Honest limitations
Read this before installing. I'd rather tell you than have you find out.
- A solid piece needs an invisible hitbox roughly one block tall beneath it. Solid pieces work as floors and steps, not as overhangs you walk under. Decorative pieces have no such limit.
- The hitbox is rectangular and does not follow the exact shape. Standing on a thin panel feels slightly wider than it looks.
- Per-chunk limits are on by default. They are there so your server survives an enthusiastic builder. Raise them at your own risk.
Requirements
Paper 1.20.1 or newer. Java 17. No dependencies.
Works on Spigot? Probably not — the plugin uses Paper API.
