Moderation tooling for Paper servers. It handles reports, punishments, chat filtering, and staff accountability through in-game commands and GUIs.

Requirements

You need a Moon account and a valid key to use this plugin (It's completely free). It does not work as a standalone offline tool. The system is built to sync your moderation data with a central dashboard, so a key is mandatory to get it running on your server.

Features

Once your key is configured, you get access to the full toolset.

• Reports: A GUI based staff queue using /report. It gives your team the actual context around each report instead of just a bare text message.
• Punishments: Bans, mutes, kicks, and warnings with reasons and durations. You can configure punishment escalations and apply everything directly through the dashboard.
• Chat filtering: Set up rules for your chat with specific settings.
• Staff accountability: Every moderation action goes straight to an audit log you can review later.
• Dashboard sync: Moderation history syncs to the web dashboard.
• Cross-server support: Apply a punishment on one server and it automatically carries over to the rest of your network.
• Alt and VPN detection: Spots proxy logins and alternate accounts using data from across the network.
• LuckPerms integration: We optionally support this to import roles and permissions.

Network use

Because Moon requires a linked account, it connects to moonhq.net to function. It uploads:

• Moderation actions like who was punished, why, and when.
• Chat messages you have configured it to check.
• Player UUIDs and usernames.
• License checks to verify your key.

Install

1. Drop the jar in your plugins/ folder.
2. Start the server once to generate the config.yml.
3. Open the config file and paste in your Moon account key.
4. Restart the server.
