NetherToggle

Enable or disable the Nether on demand for Paper 1.21+.

A single-purpose utility plugin: one command, one job. Flip Nether access on or off without editing bukkit.yml, touching portal blocks, or restarting the server.

  • Instant Nether toggle — block or restore Nether portal access with one command
  • Op-only by default — the permission node defaults to op, so it's locked down out of the box

Configuration highlights

A single flag in config.yml — flip it directly or use the in-game command, both persist.

Setup

  1. Drop NetherToggle.jar into your server's plugins/ folder.
  2. Restart the server.
  3. Run /nether off whenever you need to lock the Nether down, /nether on to restore it.

Requirements & compatibility

  • Server: Paper 1.21+ (Purpur works).
  • Java: 21 or newer.
  • No external dependencies required.
