Your chat buttons. One click.
NCD · No Confirmation Dialogs removes Minecraft's extra Confirm Command Execution screen from clickable chat commands. Teleport requests, chat menus and command links work with a single click, using the messages your plugins already send.
One JAR for Paper, Leaf, Velocity and BungeeCord. No configuration or client mod.
Drop it in and reconnect
- Stop the server or proxy.
- Put
NoConfirmationDialogs-1.0.1-stable.jarin itsplugins/folder, replacing the previous NCD JAR if present. - Start it again and reconnect your players.
Existing run_command chat buttons are handled automatically, including namespaced commands such as /huskhomes:tpaccept Alice. You do not need to edit other plugins' messages or configuration.
NCD requires no ProtocolLib, PacketEvents, database or Redis. It contains no telemetry or automatic updater.
Where should I install it?
| Installation | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Standalone Paper / Leaf | Chat generated by that backend, including plugin messages, system chat, disguised chat and unsigned player-chat decorations. Commands use the backend's normal player command handler. |
| Velocity / BungeeCord only | Proxy-authored clickable messages and backend system-chat packets passing through the proxy. Proxy commands run there; other commands follow normal forwarding to the current backend. |
| Proxy + every Paper / Leaf backend | Both sets above, including backend chat types the proxy cannot decode. Backend clicks also pass through proxy command events, policies and routing. |
For a network, install the same current JAR on the proxy and every backend. The layers coordinate over the existing Minecraft connection. No channel setup, shared secret, external database or extra port is needed.
A backend-only installation behind a proxy covers that backend's chat locally, but does not handle messages created by proxy plugins. Proxy-only installation does not cover clickable actions inside opaque player-chat decorations or disguised chat. Installing both provides the full supported chat coverage.
Native clicks, normal permissions
NCD replaces outgoing run_command actions with Minecraft's native custom-click action. The command stays on the server, associated with a random token for the recipient's connection. Clicking sends that token back for validation and normal command dispatch.
Commands run as the player, with normal permissions, cancellation and routing. Incoming payload text cannot choose a command. Session registries and request rates are bounded.
Text, colors, hover content, URL links, command suggestions, clipboard actions and unrelated custom clicks keep their original purpose. NCD deliberately removes the extra client confirmation for supported chat actions; it does not grant command permissions.
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3.
- Hosts: Paper, Leaf through the Paper adapter, Velocity and BungeeCord builds supporting the client's protocol.
- Java: Java 21 bytecode; use the Java version required by your host, including Java 25 for Minecraft 26.x.
- Clients: vanilla clients; no client installation required.
Version 1.0.1-stable fixes the InteractiveChat conversion error involving PacketEvents' absent-payload END tag. Verified with InteractiveChat 2026.1.3.0, InteractiveChat-PacketEvents 1.3.1 and PacketEvents 2.14.0. These are compatibility checks, not NCD dependencies.
Written books, modal dialog definitions and other plugins' own confirmation menus are outside this plugin's scope. Pure Bukkit/Spigot, Folia, snapshots, future protocols and protocol translation on a separate machine are outside the verified support matrix. Old chat buttons may need to be resent after reconnecting or registry expiry.
