OrbitalStrike
Call down orbital strikes on anything you can see, or anything you have coordinates for. Fire them from a command, or hand out single-use rods that launch a strike where the holder is looking. Available for Paper and Fabric.
Payloads
| Payload | What it does |
|---|---|
| Nuke | Rings of primed TNT thrown out from a point 72 blocks above the surface. The size sets the number of rings (size 8 gives 8 rings, spaced 10 blocks apart, up to 32). |
| Nuclear | A mushroom cloud made of TNT rings: a stem of 10 rings that narrow going up, topped by a dense 8-ring cap, plus a second 8-ring cap-sized group low enough to reach the ground. Size scales the whole cloud. Built to level mountains. |
| Stab | After a short delay, drops 4 TNT at every block level from the world height down to bedrock in a single column, all with a 1-tick fuse. |
| Wolf | Spawns 150 tamed pale wolves on you, each in wolf armor with Strength II, Speed II and Fire Resistance for 3 minutes. |
| Stasis | Teleports you to the set <x> <y> <z> coordinates stored on the rod, or to the block you aim at if none are set. |
| Tunnel | Places a line of invisible, stationary TNT starting at the block you aim at and running in the direction you face (north, south, east or west). The TNT is spaced 2 blocks apart with a 1-second fuse, so a stored amount of TNT digs a straight tunnel. |
| Railgun | A crossbow that fires 100 arrows at once at the block you aim at, up to 500 blocks away. Each arrow flies at velocity 45 with a small random spread. |
Commands
| Command | Aliases | Description |
|---|---|---|
/orbitalstrike <payload> <x> <z> |
/os, /strike |
Launch a strike at the coordinates. Add [size] for nuke and nuclear. |
/orbitalrod <type> <player> |
/orod, /rod |
Give a rod. nuke and nuclear take an optional [size]. stasis takes optional [x] [y] [z]. tunnel takes a TNT <amount> and is given to you. |
/orbitalshulker <color> <payload> <amount> |
/oshulker, /shulker |
Give a coloured shulker box filled with 1 to 27 rods. Works for nuke, stab, wolf, stasis and railgun. |
/immortality <add|remove> <player> |
/imm, /immortal |
Make a player immortal. |
/oscauth <player>, /oscrevoke <player> |
Grant or revoke the orbital.use permission. Needs orbital.admin. |
Permissions
orbital.use: use the strike and rod commands and fire rods. Default: ops.orbital.admin: grant and revoke access. Default: ops.
Configuration (config.yml, Paper)
rod.distance: how far a rod can aim (default 500).nuke.height: how high above the ground a rod strike lands when you aim at the sky (default 15).railgun.arrow_amount,railgun.arrow_velocity,railgun.armor_damage: railgun tuning.
Important
Large strikes spawn thousands of TNT. On Paper, set max-tnt-per-tick: 1000000 in spigot.yml or the TNT will be capped and the shapes will break. Try big sizes on a world you don't mind lagging.
