OxFunds

OxFunds is a multi-currency economy plugin for Paper servers. It is built for servers that want a flexible economy system without relying on a single currency.

You can create and manage multiple currencies, give each currency its own name, symbol, formatting, and limits, and use them throughout your server's economy.

• Transaction Logging: Detailed logging of currency transfers, including participating players, currency types, amounts, and metadata.
• Data Storage & Discord Notifications: Persistent automatic player data saving and optional Discord webhook support for transaction alerts.

OxFunds provides straightforward in-game commands for both players and administrators.

Player Commands

• /pay <player> <amount> <currency> — Transfer currency directly to another player.
• /balance — View your current currency balances.
• /balance <player> — View another player's public balance.

Administrative Commands

• /oxfunds status — View overall system and database status.
• /oxfunds info <player> — Inspect detailed economy information for a specific player.
• /oxfunds reload — Hot-reload plugin configuration files without restarting.
• /oxfunds help — Display the admin command help menu.
• /givepoints <player> <amount> <currency> — Administer and add currency to a player's balance.
• /takepoints <player> <amount> <currency> — Deduct currency directly from a player's balance.

Placeholders

When PlaceholderAPI is installed, OxFunds exposes dynamic placeholders for scoreboards, chat, TAB, and UI menus:

• %oxfunds_balance_<currency>% — Raw numeric balance for a specific currency.
• %oxfunds_balance_<currency>_formatted% — Formatted balance output (e.g., $1,000 or 100 Shards).
• %oxfunds_currency_<currency>_displayname% — Configured display name of the currency.
• %oxfunds_currency_<currency>_symbol% — Configured currency symbol.

Requirements

• Server Platform: Modern Paper server (or compatible fork).
• Environment: Server-side plugin only (no client-side modifications required).
• Optional Dependencies: PlaceholderAPI (for placeholders) and PlayerPoints (for cross-points integration).

Quick Setup

1. Download the latest OxFunds.jar release.
2. Place the file into your server's plugins/ directory.
3. Start or restart the server to generate default configuration files.
4. Adjust currency parameters, formatting, transaction limits, and storage options in the configuration files.
5. Execute /oxfunds reload or restart the server to apply your changes.

Data & Recommendations

• Target Audience: Ideal for Survival, SMP, RPG, and network servers that require custom multi-tier economies.
• Backups: Player economy data is saved automatically. Server administrators should maintain regular backups of the OxFunds data folder on production environments.
