PlayerInspector

PlayerInspector is designed to make managing players on Minecraft servers much easier. Instead of installing separate plugins for inventory inspection, playtime tracking, inventory rollbacks, and vanishing, PlayerInspector combines them all into one plugin.

Commands

The main command is /pi, followed by a player's username and an optional action.

Player Management

/pi <player> death	Inspect their most recent death and inventory
/pi <player> edit	Edit the player's live inventory

/pi <player> shulkers	Inspect the player's shulker boxes
/pi <player> bundles	Inspect the player's bundles
/pi <player> shulkers death	Inspect shulker boxes from their last death
/pi <player> bundles ender	Inspect bundles inside their ender chest
/pi <player> backup	Create a manual inventory backup
/pi <player> backups	View saved inventory backups
/pi <player> restore death	Restore the player's last-death inventory
/pi <player> restore manual all	Restore a manual inventory and ender chest backup
/pi <player> confirm	Confirm a pending restoration

Staff Vanish

PlayerInspector includes a built-in vanish system that allows server administrators to become invisible to regular players.

When an administrator enables vanish:

• They disappear from other players' view and tab lists.
• A fake "Player left the game" message is displayed.
• Other server operators can still see the vanished administrator.
• Public chat, item pickup, interactions, and combat are blocked by default while vanished.
• Disabling vanish makes the administrator visible again and displays a fake join message.
• Vanish messages and restrictions can be customized in config.yml.

Open a player's overview:

/pi Steve

View a player's statistics:

Inspect a player's last death:

Edit a player's inventory:

Disable vanish and become visible again:

Permissions

All commands are restricted to server operators (OPs).

• Player Inspection: OP permissions required.
• Inventory Editing: OP permissions required. The target player must be online.
• Inventory Restoration: OP permissions required. The target player must be online.
• Vanish: OP permissions required. Vanished administrators remain visible to other operators.

Note: PlayerInspector is currently an experimental release. Test inventory editing, restoration, and vanish functionality on a test server before using it in production.
